Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) - Pre-School
Salary: Up to £31,000
Hours per week: 40
We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader with a Level 3 qualification to become a part of our client's team. The role of the Nursery Room Leader is pivotal in creating a secure and nurturing environment for children, while overseeing a team of nursery practitioners. Our client's progressive curriculum draws inspiration from renowned teaching philosophies such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and the theory of Multiple Intelligences, aligning with the EYFS.
The Nursery its own expansive garden, its large stained-glass windows provide plenty of light and its Montessori-inspired classrooms are airy, bright and calming.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or above
* Proven experience working in a nursery setting
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of child development and early years curriculum
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities
* Lead the daily operation of the nursery room, including planning and implementing activities that promote learning and development. Implementing innovative curriculum inspired by the Montessori approach in line with the EYFS.
* Provide strong leadership and support to a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring their ongoing professional development and well-being.
* Build positive and collaborative relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Utilize the innovative curriculum to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the nursery room.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and nursery policies.
