Technical and Contract Review Engineer Monday - Friday: 8.00AM - 4.00PM £30,000 - £35,000 per annum People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Technical and Contract Review Engineer to join our well-established client based in Kingswinford on a full-time permanent basis. Day to Day Duties Technical Documentation Review: Analyze customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure compliance with company capabilities and standards. Contract Analysis: Review contracts and customer orders for accuracy, identifying any discrepancies or areas requiring clarification. Liaison: Act as a bridge between customers, the engineering team, and production to clarify technical requirements and resolve issues. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all contracts and technical documents align with industry regulations (e.g., ISO standards) and company quality standards. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in fulfilling contract requirements and propose mitigation strategies. Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of all technical and contract reviews, including revisions and communications. Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of technical and contract review workflows. Essential Skills Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of engineering drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes, particularly in fasteners or related industries. Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reviewing technical documents and contracts. Communication Skills: Clear and professional written and verbal communication to liaise with internal teams and external clients. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple contracts and reviews simultaneously. Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and providing effective solutions. IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems. Desirable Experience Experience in the fastener manufacturing industry. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100). Familiarity with contract law and terms. Experience using CAD software for basic technical drawing reviews.
