Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – London \n\nAn established and highly regarded multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing MEP and Sustainability team in London. With a strong industry presence across the UK and Europe, this company delivers a wide range of services to corporate clients and public sector bodies, working on projects of all scales, from minor works to contracts exceeding £200 million. \n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious electrical design engineer looking to further develop their career within a company that prioritises career progression and internal development. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the management and growth of the electrical engineering design team. \n\nSalary \n\n£40,000 - £45,000 per annum \n\nKey Responsibilities \n\nPreparing designs for a full range of building services. \n\nContributing to the development of health and safety plans and files. \n\nConducting troubleshooting exercises related to energy consumption and internal conditions, including surveys, reports, schedules and feasibility studies. \n\nDeveloping planned maintenance specifications and overseeing contract management and reporting. \n\nManaging energy strategies and ensuring Part L compliance in projects. \n\nMaintaining strong client relationships and securing repeat business. \n\nAssisting with fee proposals and contract negotiations, subject to director approval. \n\nSupporting the development and succession planning of team members. \nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise \n\nTwo to three years of relevant experience. \n\nStrong team player with the ability to work under pressure. \n\nCommitment to ensuring client satisfaction and meeting project goals and deadlines. \n\nAbility to contribute to business development and the overall promotion of the company. \nWhy Join? \n\nThis company fosters a values-driven workplace with a strong emphasis on sustainability, social impact and employee well-being.
