Throughout this role, you will be required to work within the Humanities Department. You could be required to assist in the teaching of other Humanities; however, your main responsibilities will be teaching History. It is essential that you can plan lessons that are inclusive of your pupils and their varying abilities. You should use interactive resources to engage the pupils in their learning. Requirements for this role: You must be a fully qualified teacher with recognised UK QTS or equivalent, you will need to provide your TRN number. It is essential that you are located in Darlington or surrounding areas. You must have a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check, registered with the Update Service. If you do not already have one, you will be able to apply for one through Teaching Personnel. You will be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references that will cover the last two years of your work history, or anything education-based within the last ten years of your employment.
