Summary:
Our client, a specialist interior fit out subcontractor, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a permanent full-time position working on commercial projects in Suffolk, Essex, London, Kent, and Hertfordshire.
With this role, our client is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals who have recently graduated and are looking to start their career in Quantity Surveying, as well as those already established in the field. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for tasks such as drawing take-offs, assisting with the preparation and submission of valuations and final accounts, checking subcontractor payment applications, and pricing and submitting variations.
To be successful in this position, you should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification. Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, are required. Additionally, excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively are essential. A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are also necessary for this role.
