As a teaching practice, we host clinical placements for the University of Glasgow. We believe in a healthy work/life balance and offer flexibility in working hours. We are a friendly, welcoming practice that believes in mutual support. We meet daily for coffee, lunch, and have regular clinical meetings to foster collaborative working.
We work from a large, modern, purpose-built surgery operating the Vision Clinical System and Docman Document Management System.
Our ANPs work as experienced clinical practitioners responsible for expert clinical care and management of both stable and acutely unwell patients. They provide assessment, examination, diagnosis, management, treatment initiation, and evaluation to a range of patients, offering advanced levels of nursing practice and clinical decision-making. Triage, signposting, and workflow optimisation are used to provide optimum care.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants should be registered nurses and hold a postgraduate diploma or a Master’s degree in Advanced Practice. They must demonstrate competence within all four pillars of advanced practice. There is always a GP available on site for support.
Location: Our practice is centrally located within Bellshill and is supported by good transport links from M74, M8, and East Kilbride Expressway, approximately 20 minutes from the West End of Glasgow.
