Position: Contracts Administrator
Location: St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0LT
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 (depending upon experience)
Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time)
Shaw is now recruiting for a Contracts Administrator. The Contracts Administrator's primary function will be to act as the main point of contact between Shaw healthcare’s services and the finance function in Shaw’s head office, ensuring all contractual documentation is in place for each individual's admission to one of Shaw's services.
The successful person will also be expected to:
* Establish (and thereafter maintain) an electronic database of contracts;
* Assist Shaw’s Corporate Counsel in legal document retrieval and simple legal review (finding relevant terms etc.);
* Provide administrative support to the Head of Commercial Operations and the Commercial & Development Director (when required).
Job Outline
* Main point of contact with Shaw services and the Finance Department for standard form admission contracts.
* Collating documents and chasing for completed contract returns.
* Updating key fields in MS Word and Excel.
* Reading, understanding, and being familiar with the Shaw group’s major contracts.
* Answering queries on basic contract terms in consultation with Corporate Counsel (where necessary).
* Maintaining an up-to-date diary of all tasks and obligations, monitoring progress towards objectives within the applicable contractual timescales.
* Preparing standard correspondence and composing routine letters.
* Typing and updating complex documents and correspondence.
* Being responsible for electronic contract storage (including scanning), to also include historic documents (where appropriate).
