The Social Account Executive
Client Context:
Our client is within the entertainment sector and rapidly growing. Our client is heavily focused on brand building with a presence across all digital channels along with print and trade press.
Role Context:
You will work as part of an ambitious team to run the critical support duties of our clients' advertising social campaigns. A key role in ensuring operational excellence and delivering the critical foundations for marketing success. You will also be involved in managing client day-to-day activity and reporting on success metrics, as well as supporting the senior team in understanding the wider market and competitors and how this affects our business outcomes. An exciting entry into the world of digital media and a real linchpin role supporting your team in delivering business-critical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learn the role of Paid Social as a channel within the wider Digital and Marketing Mix.
2. Learn how Paid Social campaigns are set up, tracked, and measured.
3. Setup and run paid media advertising across key social platforms.
4. Participate in training programs on best Paid Social media practices.
5. Understand what your client’s KPIs are and how to monitor these.
6. Understand how Paid Social metrics interrelate and can influence each other.
7. Complete daily budget and performance checks to ensure campaigns are running on target.
8. Understand the Paid Social optimisation techniques and implement accordingly to improve performance (i.e., audiences, creatives, bidding, etc.).
9. Contribute to materials required for regular internal or client meetings.
10. Prepare client reports and analyse campaign results to develop actionable insights.
11. Understand the approach to preparing a media plan in response to a client’s brief.
12. Complete the Meta Blueprint accreditations & other channel certifications.
13. Support on finance and payroll requirements.
About You:
The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day client support. This person should be comfortable working within a team and independently, must be proactive, and show a desire for client excellence, whilst having a personal ambition to excel in a high-paced environment.
Ideally, you would have a broader sense of advertising, how it can drive business outcomes, or experience running campaigns yourself.
It’s essential that you have:
1. A basic understanding of digital marketing in general.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and countries.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. A desire to develop presentation skills.
5. Moderate Excel skills. You must have the ability to use Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
6. Expert practice area knowledge and in-depth understanding of search campaign set-up, management, optimisation, and reporting across Google Ads.
7. Positive attitude & enthusiasm.
8. Analytically minded with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
9. Eager to improve knowledge and skills through continuous training.
10. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
