The Role:
As an Attendance and Admin Officer, you will be the cornerstone of our school's administrative operations, ensuring the efficient management of student attendance records and providing essential administrative support to staff, students, and parents. From maintaining accurate attendance data to coordinating school events and liaising with external agencies, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, lateness, and absences in accordance with school policies and procedures.
* Monitor and follow up on student attendance issues, working closely with parents, teachers, and pastoral staff to support students' regular attendance and punctuality.
* Coordinate the administration of school events, examinations, and special projects, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place and deadlines are met.
* Provide front-line support to visitors, parents, and students, responding to inquiries and providing assistance in a professional and courteous manner.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and educational partners, to facilitate effective communication and partnership working.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 A levels Grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications.
* GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above.
* Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
* Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with database management systems.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
