Join our team as Marketing Director. This is a new role created due to company growth. You will lead our Marketing team and be responsible for building the leading global brand in mineral process technology and a world-class digital marketing operation with global reach.
Key aspects of this role are :

The Role
You will lead our Marketing team with the mission to build a world-class digital marketing operation with global reach. You will be responsible for creating a high-performance digital lead generation machine that creates the deal pipeline required for our sales teams.
You will develop our brand into the dominant global leader in our market niche. This will be a highly targeted strategy to suit our niche global audience and B2B engineered products.
This is a high-growth environment with the budget required to deliver the plan.
Key responsibilities include :
1. Lead & manage team
2. Brand strategy (company, division, product)
3. Content, website & social
4. Digital campaigns & nurture (incl sales integration)
5. Marketing tech stack (incl CRM optimisation)
6. Performance analysis & optimisation
7. Budget management & optimisation
8. Product marketing & sales materials/tools
9. Employer brand incl content & nurture for talent pool program
10. Marketing integration of bolt-on acquisitions
A major transformation is required to take our marketing to the next level. Our brand positioning must evolve from a local Australian supplier to the global premium brand in mineral process technology.
Over 40% of our sales are already international and we plan to increase this significantly. Part of our strategy is to build out a global sales presence direct to end-user over the next 5 years.
We will achieve this via both organic growth and bolt-on acquisitions. We require a world-class digital marketing operation to support this global growth strategy.
The key initiatives will likely be something like this in the first 12-18 months :
1. Build A-player team
2. Marketing strategy (year 1 / 2 / 3, integrated with company’s Strategic Plan)
3. Brand strategy (Beaver, Slurryflex, Abrasiguard, Defender, SlurryIQ)
4. New website (multi-language, multi-country, dynamic content to unique visitor)
5. Update product marketing & sales collateral (to match new brand positioning)
6. Build funnels (digital ads, email, remarketing, content streams, sales integration, etc)
7. Replicate funnels for global reach (by region, language)
8. Upgrade marketing tech stack
This role can be based on-site (Perth or Brisbane) or remote (with some travel). You will need to build out your team (likely 6-8 in 12 months, 15-20 in 2-3 years), with an optimised mix of internal team, dedicated offshore support, and specialist agency/contractor project resources.
About You
We are looking for a Marketing Leader who wants the autonomy to build a premium global brand and a high-performance digital marketing machine with global reach.
You will be competitive, focused, and driven by winning. You will have a high-performance mindset with a strong focus on driving revenue.
You will be analytical and use logic and data to drive decision-making. You will be highly accountable, hit deadlines, and beat targets.
You will be 100% digital, with strong tech capability, and a high need for control (i.e., build an A-player internal team, only use external agency where necessary).
You will be ROI-focused, always looking to test and measure, try lots of things, and double-down on what works to maximise every dollar.
Experience required includes :
1. 10+ years relevant experience
2. Previously setup or grown high-performance digital marketing team (not first rodeo)
3. Track record of delivering outstanding revenue outcomes through digital marketing
4. Ideally experience with niche B2B audiences and highly segmented targeting
5. Ideally experience developing high-performing B2B marketing funnels
6. Ideally experience with digital marketing localisation (by language, region)
