At Substance to Solution, you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. As a Recovery Support Volunteer working with the opiate team based at Spring House, you will be working in collaboration with Recovery Coordinators, supporting with caseload management, and supporting clients through all aspects of their treatment journey. This can include completing assessments, supporting people to attend community and inpatient detoxes, supporting group work, and undertaking one-to-one work. You will be an integral team member and will play an active role in helping our service users achieve their goals. You will receive training and support and work towards holding a small caseload of low-risk clients. If you feel this is something you are interested in, we would love to hear from you. Support the recovery coordinator to carry out comprehensive assessments, triage, risk assessments, risk management plans and to contribute to the development of individual community recovery plans Provide 1:1 key work session including harm reduction advice and recovery planning. Support those who use our services to achieve their care plan goals. Support and empower service users to engage in recovery activities both within Change Grow Live and the wider community. Co-facilitate groups and help deliver session plans Work towards holding a small caseload of low-risk service users, coordinating their treatment options.
