Free Gym Membership Role Details Role: Senior Housing Support Assistant Hours: 30 hours per week Contract: Permanent Salary £20,882 per annum, pro rata FTE (£13.35 per hour) Location: Larkhill Retirement Village, Nottingham, NG11 8BH What will you do as our Senior Housing Support Assistant? Arrange to visit each resident or household within the Village on a regular basis – usually annually (or by agreement with the resident). Assess property condition and ensure tenancy / lease conditions are being adhered to. Sign-post resident to Housing Officer / Welfare Benefits Advisor / Village Manager / Repairs Team where appropriate if tenancy or lease breach (or potential breach) is identified. Alert Village/ Manager / Head of Care of any issues of concern relating to resident safety and well-being, including safeguarding issues. Assist with Village Surgeries to provide advice and assistance to residents in respect of tenancy / lease and / or other services available within Village. Help and advise residents report property repairs, liaising with the Repairs Team to ensure that required work is completed within an acceptable time and to an acceptable standard. Help residents to report concerns relating to the potential breach of tenancy / lease / Village rules by others, by recording information accurately and / or assisting resident to meet with Housing Officer / Village Manager. To ensure that resident information is kept up to date on Customer Portal in a timely manner. Facilitate viewings for prospective residents including show around home and advise on facilities. Our ideal Senior Housing Support Assistant will be: - Previous experience of working in ideally a housing related or support services providing advice & guidance and excellent customer service. CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice (QCF). Managing staff and/or rotas. Experience with lettings, income management and/or Anti-Social Behaviour handling. Experience with facilities management. Understanding of rent and service charges. Engaging, positive personality. Empathetic, friendly, and able to build relationships with residents who will have varying needs. Solution focussed with a creative outlook to resolve issues.
