Behaviour Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work in a SEMH provision, supporting students who require additional guidance to engage with learning. This is a full-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30. The role is anticipated to last until the end of the academic year.
The Role
* Supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them to engage with lessons and develop positive coping strategies.
* Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a structured and supportive environment.
* Using de-escalation techniques and a positive approach to behaviour management.
* Building strong relationships with students to help them achieve their potential.
Requirements
* A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
* A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting young people.
