As a Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students of various abilities, fostering critical thinking, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. If you have a strong academic background in Psychology, excellent communication skills, and a love for teaching, we want to hear from you!

About the role
We are working with a school in Derbyshire looking for a teacher of Psychology. This is a long-term post initially requiring 1 day of teaching per week. We also have requirements for further teaching posts across Derby in addition to this position.
What we’re looking for:
* A qualified teacher with a strong background in Psychology
* Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Psychology (preferred)
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment
About the school
The school is based in a rural location. As part of a wider trust of schools, you will be offered extensive development opportunities and access to further vacancies, with the possibility of permanent placements. Assignment details
This post is to start immediately, and you will be required until the end of the summer term. This role will encompass full teaching responsibility including planning and marking, with relevant PPA time factored into your timetable.

Person Specification
* Hold qualified teaching status
* Have suitable UK teaching experience
* Hold good subject knowledge
* Able to work with students of varied abilities up to KS4 & KS5
* Reliable and consistent
* Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
* Passionate about the success of young people and supporting the local community
* Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour
