Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Desktop Support Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop, laptops, mobile devices, printers, troubleshooting computer hardware, installing software and related activities.
Role Details And Qualifications
1. Minimum 3 years of onsite support engineer (L2 level)
2. Desktop, Laptop Computers, Technical Support, and Printer Support skills
3. Troubleshooting and supporting for operating system drivers, software and firmware
4. Provide support to users for home connection and work from home set up
5. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain software applications & infrastructure
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Understanding of client assets and management of the same
8. Interacting with other support groups (local and global) within the firm across multiple platforms
9. Hands-on experience in ITSM ticketing tools like ServiceNow
10. Record and manage all incidents and requests in ticket-tracking system.
11. Understanding of SLA and KPIs and managing the same
12. Be proactively responsive to multiple mediums of communication platforms such as E-mail, Microsoft Teams etc.
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
15. Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
16. National or C1 level local language proficiency
