This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator or Assistant to join a close-knit family-run business, who are specialists in the design, build, and installation of street furniture. You will join a fast-paced role that encourages teamwork and personal development.

Established over 50 years ago, this family-run company is an industry leader in the design, manufacturing, and installation of street furniture across the North and Midlands of England. They focus on providing exceptional service, which has allowed them to secure a number of framework agreements with local authorities, ensuring a steady pipeline of work. Due to organic growth, they are looking for a Project Coordinator or Operations Administrator to join their growing team and help them with the successful delivery of projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects. Responsibilities will include:
1. Liaising with local authorities
2. Producing job packs
3. Overseeing production
4. Liaising with site teams to understand project progress
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a coordination role, ideally within the Civils or highways industry. You will be computer literate, enjoy liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and have a full UK driver's license.

The Role:
* Submit relevant permits and notices to local authorities
* Manage relationships with external stakeholders including local authorities and contractors
* Visit sites ensuring projects are on programme
* Act as the first point of contact for ground teams
The Person:
* Previous experience in project coordination or something similar within the Construction industry (Civils advantageous)
* Proactive with excellent communication skills
* Computer literate and eager to learn
* Full Driving License
