Job Description Equifind are currently working an exciting new position for a top tier alternate Asset Management firm that has come up due to growth. The role is a great entrance into the world of fund accounting, with a supporting team of 11-people. Currently they boast just over $6.5-Billion in AUM and are increasingly growing. Recent investments have been in Data Centres, Real Estate, Technology, Shipping and Logistics. Long term, they see this as the ideal training ground for somebody who would like to continue studying towards their ACCA exams; and ultimately become a qualified accountant for the business. They are a London-based investment company established in 2009 to invest in a wide range of real assets, private equity opportunities and liquid strategies through its investment funds. They deploy capital through their growing range of alternative investment funds. Structuring platforms according to their investors’ evolving needs, and serve as General Partner across all platforms, managing investors’ capital. Investments to date have focused primarily on Europe and North America, with each of the investment funds committed to a specific sector or product. Their global investors include government-related entities, such as sovereign funds and quasi-sovereign entities, as well as public and private pension funds, financial institutions and family offices. The investors are based primarily in Europe, the Far East and the Middle East. Location: Oxford Circus Position: Assistant Management/Fund Accountant Hours: 9AM – 6:30PM Salary: up-to £43,000 PA – dependant on experience. Responsibilities: Assist in managing the portfolio companies. Processing and cross-checking invoices and statements. Monitoring cash flow and bank accounts. Assist with drawdowns, fund reporting and further related tasks. Assist in quarterly reporting. Corresponding with external parties. Reviewing SPV accounts. Completing weekly cash reconciliations of bank accounts and dealing with queries in a timely manner. Required Experience: 1-2 years’ experience.
