CVS Vehicle Group, based in Burnley, provide Short Term & Long Term Vehicle Hire to domestic and business customers throughout the region. Operating from two locations in East Lancashire under the Burnley Van Hire & Colne Van Hire brands. We run a comprehensive vehicle fleet in excess of 250 units ranging from small car to 3.5ton Box vehicles.
CVS are a well established independant local firm with over 30 years experience specialising in Self Drive, Flexible Vehicle Hire and Maintenance Support Solutions. A strong local reputation built upon great customer service delivery and trust with our domestic and corporate customers.
As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to identify, manage and grow the Sales Revenue performance of your defined territory through an outbound sales strategy by managing all sales activities that contribute to business performance.
You will actively seek out new business relationships within the local area to maximise business growth.
Key purpose of the role:
1. Identify new business as well as building and maintaining relationships with the existing CVS Vehicle Group customer base
2. Achieving New Sales volume targets by delivering incremental Daily Hire & FlexiHire (Long Term Hire) Revenue Performance
3. Be a market and industry sector champion
4. Explore and progress EV intelligence and market opportunities
5. Thoroughly qualifying the customer needs and providing information, advice and a Fleet solution; promoting on the key benefits of partnering with CVS Vehicle Group
6. Concluding sales contracts and making amendments where requested, managing orders and overseeing the process
7. Carrying out follow-up contacts to customers and prospects; processing and managing customers database through use of the company CRM system
8. Management of the Sales Pipeline
9. Ensure customer satisfaction meets with CVS Vehicle Group expectations
Skills & Competencies required for the role:
1. Full Drivers Licence
2. Ideally an understanding and experience of the Vehicle Rental Industry.
3. Previous sales experience in a B2B environment
4. A driven and ambitious individual
5. Effectively manages own time
6. Ability to carry out analysis of needs and requirements
7. Ability to negotiate effectively
8. Willingness to Learn
9. Can structure and lead discussions
10. Positive attitude to the company and the service industry
11. Ability to write detailed, structured reports and make recommendations based on MI
12. Reliable, trustworthy and empathetic with an ability to work under pressure
