Job Description
My client offers a dynamic, flexible workplace and seeks an IT Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate IT functions-focusing on strategy and service management rather than hands-on or man management tasks.
About the role:
You will support the Head of IT & Change with the management of day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the business' IT needs are being met and prioritised and deputise when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee IT systems, infrastructure, and service providers to meet the ongoing needs of the business.
* Ensure operational stability and drive digital transformation, including evaluating current IT system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
* Supporting strategic Alignment IT initiatives with business goals.
* Manage change, release processes, IT risks, and cyber security.
* Act as the key liaison between business and IT, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships and customer satisfaction.
* Overseeing change and release processes to ensure risks are appropriately evaluated and managed, and best practice is followed.
Experience in:
* IT management/oversight.
* Strong alignment of IT projects with business strategy.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience with Managed IT Service Providers.
* SharePoint Administration and ITIL Foundation (desirable).
