About the Role:
As Compliance Officer, you will provide comprehensive regulatory advice and oversee the implementation of compliance policies for several commercial broking businesses within the group. This is a high-impact role in a fast-growing organization where you’ll work closely with leadership teams to ensure compliance aligns with business goals while meeting all FCA regulatory requirements.
This role is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK while driving compliance excellence across our group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Regulatory Advice: Act as the primary compliance advisor to group broking entities, providing expert guidance on FCA regulations and other applicable laws.
* Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures tailored to the unique needs of each broking entity.
* Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across the group, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
* Training & Awareness: Design and deliver training to broking teams, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
* Audit & Reporting: Prepare for and lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to align compliance strategies with business objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Extensive experience in commercial insurance broking, with a strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance best practices.
* Knowledge: Proven ability to manage compliance frameworks and advise on regulatory requirements within the broking sector.
* Autonomy: Self-starter capable of managing compliance for multiple entities with minimal supervision in a remote working environment.
* Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex regulatory concepts in a clear and actionable way.
* Qualifications: Relevant compliance certifications (e.g., ICA) are advantageous but not essential.
