Job Responsibilities
* Develop new process technology working closely with the Engineering teams and R&D group.
* Lead major engineering programmes of work for internal and external stakeholders, setting scopes, schedules, standards, programme objectives, and requirements.
* Provide the technical interface with our key clients, evaluating the impact of Johnson Matthey solutions on customers' business.
* Lead the resolution of technical issues within the technology for complex problems.
* Demonstrate innovation and creativity, inside and outside of individual projects. Take action to solve risk issues and recommend complex changes to senior management.
* Identify and propose the use of new technologies to gain competitive advantage.
* Provide support to ensure technical know-how in the department is sufficient to meet business needs.
Minimum Requirements
* Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience - Chartered Status is preferred.
* Substantial relevant experience at Principal Process Engineer level.
* Proven process engineering design experience with technical safety and environmental aspects.
* Proficient in the use of Engineering Software, e.g., Hysys, ProII, Aspen+.
* A self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative.
* Demonstration of customer focus and ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives.
