Warranty Administrator - Newbury
Basic Salary - GBP28,000
OTE - GBP32,000
Monday to Friday only
Our client, a busy franchised car dealership in Newbury, is seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to join their high-performing team.
Warranty Administrator Responsibilities
1. Ensure the processing of warranty claims on a timely basis.
2. Ensure that all necessary documentation and parts for return are processed in line with the manufacturer's procedures.
3. Ensure the processing of all warranty paperwork to ensure that the proper documentation is complete for Audit Standards.
4. Ensure the processing of all extended warranty claims and ensure document and procedural compliance.
5. Verify and ensure that all criteria required by the manufacturer are actioned.
6. Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting report.
7. Provide constructive feedback and solutions to Service Managers when submitted claims are rejected or reduced, to improve future claim submissions.
8. Follow up on the payment of outstanding claims.
9. Track warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which the part may be disposed of.
10. Track parts returns.
11. Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory and for digital parts checks to be carried out.
12. File and maintain all service records as required by the manufacturer.
13. Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
14. Participate in warranty audits as required.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2 years Warranty Administration experience within a franchised dealership.
2. Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Experience:
1. Experience of Kerridge, Drive, Pinnacle, Power or similar.
Remuneration & Benefits
1. Basic salary of up to GBP28,000 DOE.
2. On Target Earnings of GBP32,000.
3. Monday to Friday only (8am - 6pm).
