Are you an ambitious and experienced construction professional with a background in new build housing? We are currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a client in East Riding of Yorkshire.
The ideal candidate will have worked their way up from trades to assistant and will have a decent background in new build housing projects. There is potential for a long-term position for the right candidate. If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site
2. Implement project plans and schedules to meet deadlines
3. Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations
4. Liaise with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders
5. Manage resources effectively to ensure project efficiency
6. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
7. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
8. Keep accurate records of site activities and progress
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as an assistant site manager or supervisor within the construction industry
2. SSSTS/SMSTS
3. Strong leadership and communication skills
4. Excellent time management and organisational abilities
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
