Any queries please contact Inspector Caroline Stapleton.
You will find attached the Ethical Policing Principles and Competency and Values Framework for policing. These nationally recognised behaviours and values set out the guidance that you will be tested against within any specialist recruitment process. This will provide a consistent foundation for a range of local and national processes to be evidenced and which GMP adhere to. This framework will ensure that there are clear expectations of Police Officers working in a policing environment which in turn will lead to standards being raised for the benefit and safety of the public.
GMP have now aligned their recruitment process for Specialist Police Officer posts to the Competency and Values Framework. As a result of this change, the Leadership Expectations assessment criteria have now been removed for this recruitment process.
