Position: Senior Recruitment Coordinator
Location: Abingdon (OX14) with hybrid working
Salary: up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00 – 18:00)

The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a highly organised and value-driven professional to join our small and friendly team based in Abingdon for a role that blends recruitment coordination with wider business operations and support.
This is a unique opportunity for an existing Recruitment Coordinator or confident and ambitious administrative expert to develop their skills across a range of areas within the business, including recruitment, finance, general administration, business strategy, and marketing.
This role will be varied and working closely alongside our MD so no two days will be the same, therefore providing an opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day successes of the business.
With the launch of two new arms of our business coming in 2025, now is an exciting time to join Thompson & Terry Recruitment and this position would be well suited to candidates eager to contribute to the company’s growth (geared towards May 2035 where the team will own the business) while developing their own career and ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day recruitment function.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment – supporting the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing CVs, coordinating calls and interviews, supporting with minute taking during interviews, and other general candidate management/coordination.
- Candidate Engagement – building strong relationships with candidates to ensure an exceptional recruitment experience.
- Finance Administration – supporting with financial tasks such as basic bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and invoicing using Xero.
- PA Duties – assisting the Managing Director with diary and inbox management, as well as fulfilling key business administration tasks.
- Marketing & Branding – supporting the management of numerous social media channels, assisting with the creation of content, and maintaining a strong company brand.
