Residential Building Surveyor - Herts / London
Building Surveyor (Planned Preventative Maintenance & Major works) – Hertfordshire & Surrounding – Graduate & Non-Qualified considered
My client is a firm of Chartered Surveyors acting as managing agents overseeing a portfolio of leasehold blocks and freehold houses across private estates within London and the Home Counties.
With an office base in Hertfordshire but generally working from home, they now seek an additional Building Surveyor (for Planned Preventative Maintenance & Major works projects) as follows:
* Inspection of managed properties across London & the home counties (majority in Hertfordshire & North London)
* Compiling fixed term maintenance plans (5 and 10 year cycles)
* Preparing schedules of works and specifications
* Oversight of maintenance plans, ensuring work is put out to tender and successful contractors project managed to work completion
* Contract administration
* Condition Surveys
* Project Management of major works
Suitable Building Surveyors may come from either a public/housing or private sector background and have solid, demonstrable experience in Panned Maintenance, response repairs and major works relating to Residential Property.
Whilst recognised Surveying qualifications would be advantageous, they are not essential and those with suitable Panned Maintenance, response repairs and major works experience are actively encouraged to apply.
Remuneration for the successful Building Surveyor will start at up to £55k basic (plus package) depending on experience and qualification with full home working offered from the outset.
