The Pharmacy Department at Barts Health covers a population of 2.5 million. We provide medicines management and medicines optimisation services from our four hospital sites across North East London.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic pharmacist to join the renal pharmacy team at Barts Health. You will work closely with medical and nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team on a wide range of medicines optimisation matters, and to ensure standardisation of medicine policies and procedures wherever appropriate.
You will also be expected to contribute to the research agenda working with staff across the Pharmacy department and student placements.
The post holder will carry out the full range of duties as the Specialist Pharmacist in renal and urology to deliver patient focused, quality care, based at the Royal London Hospital.
They will promote the responsible, safe and cost-effective prescribing of medicines within renal and urology to optimise clinical outcomes, minimise adverse reactions and improve medicines safety.
