About the role:
The Cognizant (SNBG) Client Principal plays a central role in our Company’s mission by building and maintaining trustworthy relationships with our existing clients and developing long-term strategic accounts. The Client Principals are thought leaders, strategic pioneers, risk takers, team builders, established organizers, and trusted advisors. The Client Principal will oversee and manage diverse delivery teams and will balance multiple tasks and responsibilities to include overall program management, project workstream management, business process alignment, agile scrum development, and training/support functions. The Client Principal will continue to expand existing accounts by developing and enhancing strategic roadmaps and bringing innovative solutions and concepts to our clients through evolving features and offerings.
Duties and responsibilities:
Strategic Program Management:
1. Accountable for Client Customer Success and Experience
2. Build long-term and productive relationships with clients as strategic partners
3. Identify new business opportunities with potential and existing clients
4. Develop and deliver product presentations, business proposals and quotes for the client
5. Negotiate business contract terms and conditions with clients
6. Customize current business programs and roadmap to meet clients' evolving needs
7. Analyze client market and recommend appropriate changes to products, services and roadmap
8. Continuously conduct product, process and organizational maturity assessments
9. Partner with clients to prioritize initiatives and deliverables
10. Develop business plan and strategies to achieve revenue goals
11. Develop and execute a governance strategy for the client account
12. Define and develop individual workstream schedule, scope and budget aligning with overall program management
13. Single point of contact for Client Escalation / Risk Management
14. Manage delivery team and “right size” resource needs
15. Guarantee that program objectives are clearly understood by the client and delivery teams
16. Champion for change and alignment of client goals and objectives
17. Deliver innovative solutions and client customer success Write Up(s)
18. Prepare and report on metrics, KPIs and value attainment
Internal:
1. Provide frequent and honest feedback to project delivery teams
2. Provide leadership support for project delivery teams
3. Provide workstream support to Engagement Manager(s)
4. Mentor team members who have potential for additional responsibilities or roles
5. Recognize successes for teams and individuals
6. Recognize potential issues and take immediate corrective actions before they escalate
7. Make swift and firm decisions as necessary based on scope, schedule, budget and resources
8. Participate in resource staffing decisions for programs and projects
9. Help align resources on projects and workstreams based on skill and experience
10. Challenge and assist project delivery teams to step outside their comfort zones
11. Participate in feedback necessary for individual annual reviews
