As an Banking Products & Consumer Credit Lawyer - Assistant Vice President within International Consumer Business & Strategic Growth Initiatives Legal team, you will support banking products geared towards consumer credit for the Chase UK business. You will provide primary legal support and advise stakeholders across all legal issues facing the Chase UK business and be a key enabler of its success, helping to build on its foundations, including governance arrangements, supporting product build and driving progress forwards. You will bring your intellectual curiosity and passion about new technology to work with innovative digital financial services solutions in a very business focused position within a supportive and collaborative team environment Job responsibilities Develop products and services and advise clients with respect to wholly digital retail products, including all applicable consumer laws and regulations Advise on regulatory matters, including regulatory engagement Advise business and stakeholders on legal risk in connection with initiatives in coverage area(s) Drafting all client documentation, including general terms & conditions, marketing materials, drafting correspondence to internal and external parties etc Contributing to the oversight of the contents and execution of documents, including communications with respect to complaints, disputes, litigation, regulators etc. Liaising with outside counsel, source and coordinate legal advice across legal functions outside of the ICB Performing legal research on a variety of issues relating to retail matters and digital first delivery Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills England & Wales qualified lawyer with 1-3 years PQE Experience with UK and US financial institutions and products Experienced with digital retail products Legal and Retail (particularly the CCA) regulatory knowledge Excellent organizational skills Team player who can collaborate with the Business and operations groups Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Familiarity with all other retail laws and regulations, including CONC, GDPR, etc. Knowledge of financial promotion regime and perimeter advice J.P.
