Job Purpose: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families who need support? We are looking for passionate, experienced social workers to be part of this exciting initiative. The successful candidates will be committed to a rights based approach, giving children and families a voice and participation in their own plans, and will be skilled at liaising with the professional network for the child. At the heart of this approach is a core belief in the power of relationships which can provide the protective factors to help children and young people navigate life.
The post holder will be expected to undertake accredited training and support the development and evaluation of the service. They will be experienced in working with complexity with excellent communication skills., Qualification in social work
Experience in child protection and management of risk
Experience of working with looked after children and their families
Ability to engage with a wide range of professionals and children & families, using excellent communication skills
