To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations, we are looking for a Lighting Team Leader to join our Lighting and Energy Solutions team, ideally based in our Southampton or Birmingham offices; however, we could consider this role based out of any of our UK offices.
This role is to support our Strategic Road Network lighting team within the Highway sector.
We are seeking individuals who have experience with the Strategic Road Network and are familiar with all stages of project development, including pricing prospects and delivering projects. The individual should have experience in leading projects and teams and should be confident in a management capacity. They shall also have the technical knowledge and skills to support the production of bespoke deliverables for projects and guidance documents/initiatives to support the continued development of the wider team, whilst road lighting design experience and understanding of electrical principles are essential in this role. The individual will support a range of projects for clients in major public and private sector organisations and will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.
Experience with the following software packages, while desirable, is not essential:
* AutoCAD

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
* Achieved IEng/CEng. Those with EngTech working towards IEng are also welcomed
* Experience in leading lighting and/or electrical design development with people management experience
* Asset management
* Risk aware both in terms of CDM and financial risk and able to manage or mitigate accordingly
* The ability to multitask in a high volume, fast-paced work environment and plan work accordingly
* Confidence with proven interpersonal, organisational, analytical, technical and communication skills
* Familiar with the relevant British Standards and guidance documents applicable to lighting and electrical works
