Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Geography Teacher located in St. Albans commencing in March 2025. This full-time position is for 23 days initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.

Your duties as a Geography Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality geography lessons that meet the needs of students at all levels.
* Create a stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically about global and local issues.
* Foster a deep understanding of geographical concepts, including physical geography, human geography, and environmental sustainability.
* Encourage independent thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging teaching methods.
* Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
* Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and teaching resources.
* Lead or support extracurricular activities related to geography, such as field trips or geography clubs.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to integrate geography with cross-curricular learning.
To be considered for this Geography Teacher position, you will:
* Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Possess strong subject knowledge in geography, with a degree in Geography or a related field.
* Have experience as a Geography Teacher for secondary school students.
* Demonstrate the ability to engage students and inspire a passion for geography.
* Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills.
* Show commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
