This long-established manufacturer is a leading supplier of specialist hygiene rated interior building products used within healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical research, leisure, and high street retail sectors.
Due to a retirement, this leading company is looking to recruit a South East Regional Sales Manager to target main contractors, installers, end users, and architects.
The position covers London, South East, and East Anglia, reaching as far as Norfolk and Northamptonshire and west as far as Buckinghamshire, Surrey, and Sussex. Therefore, nights away due to travel may be required. An ideal location would be close to the M1 / A1 / M11 corridors, north of London and the Northern Home Counties.
This is a full cradle-to-grave autonomous field sales role, and the company prides itself on high levels of customer service, delivery, and aftercare.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with the Commercial Manager to control the sales order process, from tenders and quotes through to order and installation.
* Updating customer data and projects on the CRM system.
* Maintaining and developing a full understanding of key relationships with specifiers to ensure the company is the preferred product choice.
* Building and growing the client base through strong relationships with key decision makers at contractor and end user level.
Applicants should have field sales experience targeting contractors and/or architects and a proven ability to generate new business opportunities.
You will have a high level of self-motivation and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in exceeding targets and delivering growth.
Ideally, you will come from a building products interior finishes background or a specialist pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or healthcare-focused fit-out business, or have worked on leisure or retail projects.
