The Hertz Corporation operates the Hertz, Dollar Car Rental, Thrifty Car Rental brands in approximately 9,700 corporate and franchisee locations throughout North America, Europe, The Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The main objective of the role is to maximise revenue and profit within the area, whilst maintaining a key focus on process improvement, staff development and ensuring a first class service to customers. Minimise costs through efficient planning & utilization of company assets, and revenue generation by promoting ancillaries sales at the desk and developing local business sales. What You'll Do: - Ensure fleet, resources and capex are optimised through adequate planning in line with budgets and targets. - Provide the highest levels of customer service and implement a strategic approach to differentiate ourselves in the market. - Ensure that corporate image is established and maintained throughout the region. - Maximise the profitability of the network through establishing appropriate strategies. - Enforce the leadership capability and empowerment of the location managers within the region. Implement and support a Performance Management culture. Develop Direct Reports to maximise their personal and commercial potential. - Responsible for all location managers implementing processes to ensure all auditing standards are achieved. - Communicate and achieve targets on the following: - Contribution, Rentals and Revenue - Refuelling Revenue - Employee Satisfaction - Fleet Utilisation & Staff Productivity - Customer Satisfaction - Revenue Management - Cost Control - Instant Return - Collections - Net Promoter Score - To maintain / obtain 1 market share position - To ensure that corporate image is established and maintained throughout the Area - Liaise and negotiate with external bodies (airport authorities, etc) and service providers. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies - Develop a culture within the region promoting openness, new ideas and innovation - Ensure Health and Safety standards are met and implemented. - Accountable for ensuring all legal and internal procedures are in place to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance in relation to the protection of Company's assets.
