Behaviour Support Worker - Swindon

We are working with a brilliant education provider in Swindon, Wiltshire that is looking for a passionate individual to enter the school in December 2024 as a Behaviour Support Worker. The position is full-time, beginning in October in the Theale area, supporting students with additional needs or behaviour challenges throughout the school day.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Worker:
1. 1-1 support for students with SEMH needs
2. Observing triggers for challenging behaviours
3. Identifying self-regulation tactics when facing challenging behaviour
4. Setting goals for students to work towards
5. Participating in staff meetings to share observations and input on care plans
6. Keeping students focused and engaged in lessons
The school's approach to the students' education is a combination of encouraging independence and teaching life skills as well as an educational curriculum. As a Behaviour Support Worker, it is your responsibility to motivate your students to recognise their own potential and do their best to make it come true.

Salary: £80 - £95 per day
