Main duties of the job
As a Biologics Coordinator, you will manage the administrative processes associated with biologic treatments. Working closely with consultants and the medicine administration team, you will oversee the initiation and continuation of funding pathways for these complex therapies. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will address queries from patients and colleagues, ensuring a seamless care journey.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating effectively with pharmacy, clinical, and multidisciplinary teams for prescription management and patient tracking.
* Maintaining accurate data and patient records to support ongoing and future treatments.
* Monitoring patient invoices and consumable orders, raising any concerns with lead specialist nurses and consultants to ensure optimal resource use.
* Organising and managing your workload to meet tight deadlines, thereby supporting clinical staff in providing efficient and timely care.

* NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration/Customer Care or equivalent experience
* Educated to GCSE/ O level or equivalent including Grade C or higher in Maths and English
