Our well-established client is looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Ocean Freight Import Clerk to join their already flourishing team!

Responsibilities:
* Facilitating all aspects of Ocean import shipments from collection, shipping, pre alert, delivery and invoicing.
* Regular contact with customers to update them on shipments or anything else necessary.
* Liaising with suppliers and agents ensuring customer requirements are met for import shipments.
* Ensure shipping documents are completed fully in an efficient and thorough manner in line with regulations.
* Accurately prepare, control and distribute all relevant import documentation to counterparts including carrier, consignee, and supplier, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Follow-up on shipment status in the import area; identify incidents and ensure resolution.
* Ensure all shipments are confirmed in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
* 2 years of Ocean Import experience.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Results driven.
* Flexible and reliable with a good attitude.
* Good time management.
