We serve a population of around 500,000 people - a figure that can increase significantly with visitors during the busiest times of the year. The Knowledge Spa on the Royal Cornwall Hospital site is the base for medical and nursing as well as ongoing education for health professions in clinical and non-clinical roles. The post holder will provide support and oversee the Governance Team, Care Group Senior Leadership and Specialty Leadership Teams to assist in the delivery of safe and effective clinical services, ensuring that all governance targets, deadlines, and objectives are delivered as appropriate. They will manage administration colleagues and will assume delegated responsibility for ensuring that governance arrangements are in place within the Care Group and provide guidance to staff regarding all aspects of integrated governance.
