Phase Leader of the Connector Pathway
High Point Academy, Friar Park Rd, Wednesbury, WS10 0JS

High Point Academy opened in September 2021 for children and young people aged 11-16 years who all have an Education Health and Care Plan and a diagnosis of Autism. The school is part of Forward Education Trust, who specialise in SEN provision.
We are on the lookout for an incredible Phase Leader who is passionate about making the difference to our pupils and especially to the pupils within the Connector pathway.
At High Point we have two curriculum pathways. Students on our Connector pathway typically are working at age related expectations to least 3 years below age related expectations and their formal curriculum is focussed around developing independence life and functional skills.
Our new Phase Leader will respond to the individual needs of our students and help them to build strategies to minimise the barriers to their learning; enabling them to prepare for adult life both educationally and emotionally.
Our Phase Leader will be part of the extended leadership team and share the nurturing and enthusiastic approach to cascade our mission and ethos across the school.
“Ambitious aspirations, Challenge the impossible and independence for all”.
At High Point we can offer you a caring staff community who work together to achieve the best we can for the young people we work with.
Prospective candidates would be very welcome to visit the school by arrangement prior to making an application.
