About the Role: Teach Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics at GCSE and A Level, inspiring and challenging students to deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts and applications. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Support students in preparing for their GCSE and A Level Mathematics examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed. Guide students in conducting independent research and completing challenging coursework, fostering their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Mathematics curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and rigorous. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Mathematics education. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics. Demonstrates a passion for teaching Mathematics and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment. Has a good understanding of the GCSE and A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics specifications and assessment requirements.
