Chilton Meadows Bupa Care Home deals with several facilities like Dementia, residential, older person care, palliative care, recovery post-op or after illness, and respite care. You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
* With the help of your team, create and update individual care plans for our residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication records.
* Ensure adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
* Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team.
* Promote our residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
* Build lasting relationships with the residents and the people they care about, as well as caring about the home itself.
* Foster a sense of community.
* Create and develop strong relationships with local partners, liaising with these partners, playing an important role in raising the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills and Qualifications Required:
* Hold a valid UK NMC pin and stay committed to the NMC Codes of Conduct & professional development.
* Understand the impact of quality nursing care on residents’ lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
* Stay up to date with tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
* Build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent at prioritising tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
