Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Deputy Manager / Manager – Secretarial to join the corporate office of a reputed organization in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting high-level secretarial and governance functions, including board management, statutory compliance, policy drafting, and liaison with regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft and vet internal approval notes, policies, SOPs, and governance documents
2. Ensure adherence to corporate governance norms and regulatory requirements
3. Prepare and manage content for Annual Reports
4. Independently organize and manage internal management meetings, Board, and Shareholder meetings
5. Liaise with senior management, auditors, and regulatory authorities
6. Maintain statutory registers and records in compliance with applicable laws
Skills & Competencies:
1. Strong understanding of MCA, SEBI regulations, and stock exchange platforms
2. Up-to-date knowledge of recent circulars and notifications from statutory bodies
3. Hands-on experience with the Companies Act, SEBI Listing Regulations, and related laws
4. Excellent drafting and communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and coordinate across functions
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Additional qualifications like LLB is a plus. Familiarity with hospitality sector regulations and industry-specific compliance practices. Strong organizational, drafting, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and compliance management tools. Experience: 2–5 years in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry. Experience in internal audits and statutory compliance in multi-unit organizations is preferred. Key Competencies: Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. High ethical standards and discretion in handling sensitive information.
