Job summary Applications are welcomed for a full-time Locum Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join a friendly team of 22 consultants serving our local Buckinghamshire population. We are delighted to offer this opportunity to a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to work with multidisciplinary teams dedicated to the provision of high-quality care. The successful candidate will be based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital with cross site working at Wycombe and Amersham Hospitals, participate in the on-call rota, run outpatient clinics and hysteroscopy. We would welcome running theatre sessions based on clinical experience of the candidate. The successful applicant will have a job plan based on 10 PAs and would be expected to enhance Gynaecology service and contribute towards Obstetrics. This a locum fixed term contracted opportunity for 12 months. Applicants should be on the GMC Specialist Register. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will play an important part in day-to-day management of obstetric and gynaecological patients in the unit and will participate in the 'hot week' on labour ward. The post holder will run General Gynaecology outpatient clinics and outpatient hysteroscopy with specialist clinics based on clinical skills and experience.
