About the Role We have an exciting opportunity has come available for a Medical Administrator to join our ADHD Service in Canterbury. Principle duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to; Administration of ADHD caseload across the lifespan. Ensuring medication reviews are carried out on time as per protocol and nice guidelines, sending out reminders to patients when required. Contacting patients/parents to arrange medication review appointments. Monitoring ADHD medication review stages within Iaptus to ensure appointments are booked as clinically required. Ensure medication review letters are sent out within 5 working days. Managing NHS prescriptions including logging new pads and ensuring audit trail for each prescription. Completing shared care forms on behalf of doctors once patients are stable. Booking follow up medication review appointments at agreed intervals as per prescribing protocol. Obtaining information from doctors and ensuring correspondence is provided to patient and GP following each appointment. Coordinating repeat prescription requests, ensuring doctors complete these in a timely manner so patients have adequate supplies of medication. Escalating enquiries from patients in relation to medication including concerns, reports of side effects. Carrying out audits in relation to the ADHD service and prescription administration. Keeping IAPTUS up to date with pharmacy, GP and medication details. Inputting data to spreadsheets where required. Process and formatting reports. Dealing with patient enquiries. Person Specification Experience of working within a customer focused administration role. Excellent interpersonal & judgement skills. Experience of working to KPI targets and tight deadlines whilst balancing competing priorities within a busy environment. Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a calm professional demeanour. Committed to providing the best quality service and achieving the highest standards of client care. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups of individuals. Able to establish and maintain productive professional relationships with colleagues.
