Job Summary:The Door Access Control Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of door access control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic security systems and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role will also include other installation work for the company, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a etc.)

Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain door access control systems, including hardware and software components.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
* Provide training and support to clients on the use of access control systems.
* Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Qualifications:
* Experience in installing and maintaining door access control systems.
* Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, including key card access, biometric systems, and intercom systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Experience with Verkada security systems is an advantage
These roles will be travelling positions and travel anywhere within the UK could be required on a regular basis
