Are you looking to be part of an exciting new adventure and challenge? Would you like to be part of a great team where self-worth, purpose and engagement is central to everything we do?
With its extensive grounds, Bovington Academy is a primary school within a unique catchment area, including Bovington and the British Army garrison between Allenby and Stanley Barracks. We currently have 179 children on roll in 7 classes from Reception to Year 6, with 60% - 70% of those having a parent or carer in the services. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment, in which children from all backgrounds feel included and able to take part in enriching learning experiences. Here at Bovington, we offer the opportunity for innovative and targeted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities that reflect the school’s and your individual needs.
The children and staff of Bovington Academy are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and creative teacher to join us. We are looking for a teacher who knows how to make learning exciting, engaging and interesting. We need a teacher who is as committed to inclusion as we are, has excellent classroom management skills, high expectations and the ability to contribute fully to the life of the school.
In return, we can offer a vibrant school that is well resourced; extensive opportunities for outdoor learning; a happy, friendly and supportive staff team; a commitment to professional development and eager children who want to do their best.
The Successful Applicant Must:
* be totally committed to raising the achievement and attainment of all our children
* have the drive, self-motivation, enthusiasm and commitment to develop our school even further
* work extremely well as part of a team
* be caring, hardworking and full of positivity
As part of Aspirations Academies Trust, staff can expect not only to receive first-class training opportunities but can also expect opportunities to extend their professional skills and career portfolio. We want staff joining us to experience the professional thrill of growing as teachers and leaders.
