Part-Time Payroll Administrator – St. Austell - Circa: £22,500 Pro Rata
Trial Balance Consulting has been engaged by our long-standing client, a reputable hospitality business located in the St. Austell area, seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant. This is an urgent, part-time position with estimated working hours of 20 hours per week (working patterns TBC).
The role involves working closely with an experienced Payroll Manager responsible for weekly and monthly payroll for approximately 400 employees. The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of payroll administration, including:
1. Working alongside the Payroll Manager in payroll processes
2. Maintaining payroll records
3. Administering new starters and leavers
4. Handling salary adjustments, absences, and holiday requests
5. Processing RTI submissions
6. Ensuring compliance with current regulations
7. Resolving employee payroll queries
8. Performing payroll analysis
9. Managing P60s, P45s, P11Ds, and SSP/SPP payments
We seek an experienced payroll professional with at least 12 months of recent relevant experience. Sector-specific experience is not required, and applications from practice-based payroll professionals are welcome.
