Overview: The primary goal of this role is to support customer-oriented marketing efforts aimed at boosting demand for environmentally sustainable products and services within the recycling industry. With the emergence of the green economy, there are growing opportunities for innovative and intricate products and services. Consequently, marketing efforts must concentrate on promoting the benefits of engaging in transactions or purchasing products within an environmentally conscious framework. As members of the marketing team, multi-channel marketers will play a crucial role in executing marketing strategies and plans. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day marketing activities across various platforms, channels, and systems necessary for the company’s marketing function and operations. Duties Include: Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels Promote and produce creative content, including photos, videos, social media, blog posts Update, maintain and improve our company website. Improve SEO of the website for maximum exposure online, meta tags, meta data, keywords Conduct market research and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities Assist in managing Google Ads campaigns and monitor performance metrics Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed Candidate Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis Some understanding of HTML, CSS and web content authoring. Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media platforms and Google Ads Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
