Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Therapist to join our Special Care Dental Service in Cambridgeshire.
Working Pattern: One day per week at Huntingdon, Wednesday or Friday.
The post holder will work with the Dental HealthCare Huntingdon Team to provide high quality dentistry to patients of the special care dental service, including priority and vulnerable adults and children who would not otherwise be able to access emergency or routine care.
We are proud of the services we provide to our patients, and this role is vital to support safe and compassionate care.
The role will include care under inhalation sedation, and the successful candidate may be required to participate in epidemiological fieldwork.
We are an IASCD accredited sedation training provider, and full training will be given for all aspects of this role.
Dental Therapists without additional skills outlined in the job description for this post are welcome to apply on the basis that they will be paid at AfC Band 6 until relevant skills have been acquired.
Please note that should we receive a high number of applications, we reserve the right to close the advert earlier than advertised.
