HGV Service Advisor needed
Location: Poole
Our client, a family-run truck sales and servicing company, is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team.
The ideal candidate will act as a central point of contact for our clients, providing relevant, accurate, and timely information through each stage of our Service Core Process, ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded.
Role: HGV Service Advisor
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm or 7.00am to 5.00pm with ½ an hour unpaid lunch. Every third Saturday 8.00am to 12noon
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand and adhere to Service Core Process as set by the Brand and Company
2. Carry out a robust job preparation process; focusing on the detail to ensure all customer vehicle issues and information are captured and followed up
3. Inform customers of outstanding recall campaigns and arrange for work to be completed
4. Clarify for the customer and workshop the basis for the repair - Retail / Fleet / Warranty
5. Check the account detail and level of credit left, obtain authorisation and obtain order numbers from customers
6. Promote additional workshop services/repairs where applicable
7. Deal with customer needs over the phone and face-to-face with a professional and friendly approach
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a Senior Service role with a dealership (car or commercial)
2. Pro-active attitude
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Enthusiastic and dynamic personality
